20,000 Litres Less Fuel – Every Year

After converting from conventional diesel propulsion to a hybrid electric solution, the ferry now reduces fuel consumption by approximately 20,000 litres annually. Lower fuel use means lower emissions, reduced operating costs, and improved environmental performance.

From 19 Hours of Diesel to Just 20 Minutes

Where the vessel previously operated almost entirely on diesel — up to 19 hours per day — it now relies on diesel power for only around 20 minutes daily. The rest of the operation runs efficiently on battery power.

Return on Investment Under Eight Years

The financial case is clear. With fuel savings, reduced maintenance, and optimized energy management, the projected return on investment in battery technology is less than eight years.

Safety Without Compromise

The system was engineered under stringent maritime safety criteria, incorporating advanced battery protection, monitoring, and fire prevention measures to ensure safe operation at sea.
